Site flooded today. Footers are holding water and silt. That means lots of shoveling 
. They were supposed to finish grading and rock the whole thing today. Oh well I guess. The flood also washed a big ditch out in the middle of the driveway and more rock out in the road.
Positive note. I should have my finalized plans back in a day or two. We did a few last minute changes.
Front door is ordered. Came in a little cheaper than my original quote, so I'm happy about that.
Rear slider. We decided to go with a french sliding, Andersen A series door, with the contemporary frame (thinnest frame width). 16' x 8', but the two end panels are fixed and the door opens in the middle. The panel door was cool, but the quote for the screen came back at just under $15k plus install. Thats almost as much as the door. I think the Andersen will be a better product in the long run, so we decided to go that route. Not much of a cost savings, but it has the screen option from the factory.

I'm still actively trying to purchase that lot. Have been since I bought mine. It's 7 acres. If it ever does come up for sale, I'll buy it.

Oh, thats no big deal, aside from having to physically clean the muck off of the footers (mostly) by hand. Once they grade it and put stone down, it shouldn't happen again.

I asked this question earlier. He said it's a black tar like product thats sprayed on. Its a waterproofing coating, not water resistant.
I guess they make it in a roll on version as well, but he prefers the spray.
