I stayed in a house in upstate new york and the water smelled like that. Was not a fan
Creeks were orange from the sulfur too. Hell one time me and the old lady went swimming in one and we did the nasty in the nasty. During the process I lost my shorts in the creek flow and had to drive back home bare assed.

Like I dont know you got city water now….. you’re moving to dirt roads city buddy.. you and @jdpber can talk about gravel roads when you move to your trailer….

I wouldn't say Mooresville NC is dirt roads. @jdpber lives where people marry their siblings. We are far from that nonsense. Oddly enough, when we lived in the same area back in 2006, our NC house was city water. Now we are 3 miles down the road and city water isn't in our hood.

We do have wells and septics here in FL, but our community is off city water. Probably a better quality water using well. Doesn't have all that additives and whatnot in it.

Our Palm Beach community is city water, and my irrigation is from our well….. and the well water is free from staining… very clean water.

Went out to the land to grab the leftover waterline materials so they don't ruin or get damaged. Casey brought a trailer to make it easier.

Conduit work looks good, temporary pole looks good, more grade work done. At this point, I'm thinking we may actually have enough cut to balance the shop pad area. We're almost to grade to the back of the catch basin. Again, we're stacked at least one riser too high on the structure, most likely two.

Lots of things have changed, hopefully it's noticeable. Yukon for scale.

What a great build thread going on in there with the usual characters adding pages of b.s. keeping it lively. Tainted water, taints in the water, cool drone shots and progression thus far. Can't wait to see how this keeps unfolding and the building begins... nice groundwork and killer spot in the woods man!!

Thanks man. The journey thus far has been educational and rewarding. We're about there on grade work. Can't wait to start the actual build.

Before construction……. nuke the ground first……. Kill the ants and such so they don’t make a home below and around the foundation...
