Powder coating chrome wheels

How difficult is it to powder coat chrome wheels? I really like the esky 22's but I want them either matte or gloss black. From what I read the process is lengthy and costly due to having to strip the chrome first. Anyone have any thoughts ?

Yup, to do it right the chrome has to be bead blasted, or stripped by some other method.

They make different styles in flat, gloss, and black chrome.

I'm concerned about the quality of the rep's. Does anyone have problems with theirs?

Depends on the brand.

Tony norcalss says factory reproductions are the best reps out there.
