I've got my pre-order in on my C8 Vette. I'm due to get it on the first round of deliveries (anticipated February) to my dealership. I'll probably get the Z51 package. I'm stoked.

Last year I was at Sonoma Raceway in California... They use a bunch of McLarens as optional school cars. " Yikes!! "

I am happy for you...... ( How's about a test drive?? ).....
I hope ( considering GM's history of 1st -model year defects )...... They get the bugs out of it before the deliveries......
I met a Chevrolet Dealer - owner in Florida, a couple years back...... He was driving a new Camaro..... He (again) needed a tow.
He wanted to throw it in the dumpster !!
I likeee, what kind of lift do you think that is? say's it has a suspension package, high performance. $20k it's a 2014

ya looks like a nice combo, i'm tempted but it's 2wd and I would prefer a 4wd if it's going to have any kind of lift, lifted 2wd's just make no sense to me

What do you expect?? Just consider the nutty TV commercials of the latest truck.
They are always flying through the jungle throwing dirt 50 feet into the air & dropping a ton of rocks into the brand new bed, and the actors thinks it's cool!!
I think the commercials are dumb !! Our trucks wouldn't last 10 minutes in a commercial like that...
Do you know how many Ford Raptors returned to the dealer with cracked frames??
( 2 wheel drive...... and lifted..... Maybe the truck is designed for Florida.... Not one hill....
But it floods here !!

I'm old too. It was Zora Duntov's dream. Chevy has made several prototypes over the years. So the answer is YES, it is a Vette.

Yep, that's the mid-engine. Your not the only one in that camp of thought. It's going to be my $60K ferrari.
