Love the old square bodies! Lester's Diner! Haven't eaten there in years! But did run down there late last year to eat at Old Heidelberg a few blocks to the west. Just down the road from Lester's at 2nd and 33rd we got caught in a crossfire of bullets. We were just pulling up to a street race that had already gotten out of hand and as soon as we got out of our cars bullets started flying and we all got out of their quick! We went to Lester's and had some sliders, watching the tow trucks haul away the cars of the driver's who'd been arrested.

First bike sighting this year. Ive been riding most my life. People ask why i dont own one here in Alaska. For me its pure torture to stare at it sitting in the garage for 8 months out of the year.

Couldn't imagine. I'm on a bike at least once a week, even in the "winter" it's at least a couple times a month

I’m down by Lester’s weekly picking up supplies. Roads too choked to race most of the time.

This was the early 1990s on Friday and Saturday nights. Quite often back then, we had people literally close off the roads so we could race and then move on to another site. This was mostly done on the Sawgrass but even Perimeter Road around the airport (KFTL) was blocked off too at times.

They do that in Newark on rte 78. They'd bring in straight up race cars on trailers to race! First time I saw them do it, blew my mind. It was funny watching the cop cars on the other side of the highway trying to catch them.
