I know!!! I feel really bad about myself now that I've found out that I know nothing of minivans other than a lot of middle aged mom's drive themAnd different rims, and lowering kit... and trading in my 2012 for a 2014-2017...

Oh snap!! We had 3 Odyssey's over 7 years before the Suburban. 10, 12 and 14 and my wife and kids beat the crap out of all of them. Never paid a damage waiver or return fee, even on the last one as they were in such demand, we just kept trading up and the last one was bought as soon as I dropped it off. Middle aged...

I've spent years listening to my sister-in-law chirp about how minivans are the bees knees and that you should never go without one when you have one kid or more (they have 4 like I do). She chirped this garbage for YEARS while they piled crap on top and behind their van anytime they traveled and I didn't have to do any of that because my stuff all fit INSIDE my suburban on all vacations and I just continued to laugh at them. Well, this year they broke down and bought a burb and are going to sell their minivan

Over the years, my brother has been king of the "let me tell you what you need to do, little brother...." regardless if I'd asked for his advice at all and my sister-in-law is pretty much JUST like him as far as personality traits along those lines. So it was kind of like a sweet taste of victory as they finally circled back around realizing that I've been right all these years as they attempted to force the blessed minivan to be successful with 4 kids. One of those things where their way is always the best way and if someone goes a different route they feel the need to tell you why you're an idiot for doing that. Well, "who looks like the idiot now" is kind of what I thought 
Something along the lines of my first car. Except instead of tan at the bottom it was rust lol. I wrecked it in a parking lot doing like 35 in reverse with no insurance. And also had a sled riding accident with it, where i ran into it and ended up with whip lash and a concussion. No more vans for me. Lol

Me and my wife have owned my suburban for over 10 years now and even have a yukon XL as HER vehicle now. We have tried to get a minivan several times but we make it to a test drive and that's it. The farthest we have made it is about 5 miles before turning around and going back to the dealership. It's funny because we show up with our 3 kids and they are always confused when we just can't do a minivan.

Edit...my older brother and wife is the same.... bought an 03 tahoe after I bought my 01 then traded it on an 05.....the 03 was at the dealer within a week of him owning it...fuel pump bad from factory
