When I did the F.D.'s unit, we used the 1" wound Whelen strobes. They did not melt the housing.

STROBES!!! Thats a good Idea!! Would the strobe and the 194 bulb fit? where can I get a strobe kit at?

i would like to put strobes where the DRL's are and in the reverse lights, just white ones, do you know where i could find something affordable?

well i bought all the stuff to do this and my ''void'' in my headlights isnt big enough.... so i took all the stuff back and had Sonic for lunch....thanks Sepiroth

hmmm. I dont understand. In the burb I installed the Whelen strobes in, there was not any sort of clearance issues.

I wonder if it is possible the strobes were shorter than an inch.
