Opinions on step rail removal

With the debadged look I like it without. I never had steps and I removed the front spoiler as well because it looked odd to me. I did paint the frame matte black which has held up nicely, even though it is visible. And it will probably be more so to you since you have had the steps for so long. Run it for a while and see how you feel. If you cannot stand the look, put them back on. I think once you paint the rails, it will grow on you. Just my .02. Either way love your truck.

Forgot about that one. Turned out pretty damn good looking actually.

Since it's lowered, I like it better without the steps. I do like how it hides the traction bars. If you're going for a sleeper, keep them. If you want to hint at it not being your average Tahoe, keep them off.

I 2nd Sumo. Looks too high and not street without. Need something to fill that void.

Or of not skirts prime and paint it black. Rust frame is an eye magnet
