I'm hoping my diagnosis on this one is correct.
I've got an 07 Yukon with ~86K miles. Headed to work on Friday and my engine light comes on and I notice my oil pressure is down to 0. Interesting part is, no valve clatter and the water temp is remaining at normal operating temp. I get to work and check for leaks and of course the dip stick and all looks good. My first thought is that my oil pressure switch is bad. So, I pick one up one the way home from work and swapped it out this morning. (It's on the passenger side of the oil pan about 2'clock from the drain plug, in case someone is looking for it.) No dice. Still no pressure. The only thing left that I can think of is that there's an issue with the gauge on the cluster. Anyone else experienced something like this?
