My Dad bought new, a '69 Buick Sportwagon. 3rd row forward seating, 400 V8 !!

Even back then I thought it was a cool car. The biggest GM screw up was it had 4-wheel drum brakes!!

Ours was a silver color.

Funny! My parents had a TravelAll briefly around '64 or '65. Believe it was a '62. Same body style but with the quad headlights and egg-crate grille, dark green with a white hood and roof. I remember the under-dash A/C vents looked like two wasp nests to me at 4 or 5 years old. I think they went through at least 6 station wagons between '65 and '72 including a '63 Ford Galaxie, '64 Chevelle, '66 Impala, '66 Ford Fairlane 390, and the aforementioned '66 Buick Sportwagon and TravelAll. Guess 5 kids are ******* cars.
