me and my boss were lookin at something called the banks iq then we got on a tangent and looked up just the software call IQ or something and from wat we undstood its software that comes with a usb wire that plugs into ur obd2 and can run real time data streams for like finding and fixing problems we were trying to find a way to run a pc thru my indash screen and put engine gauges on it or some thing but dude if you look up OBD2 readers u'll find all kind of shit on the net.

i worked at les schwab tire center in washington and they had a tool called a genniss or something like that and it would read real time as well as clear and read trouble codes for allmost all makes and models but idk how much that thing costed....

good luck with ur search

So far it has been awesome, there is so much you can do with the program. I have yet to dig real deep into it.

04Hoe What did you end up buying? Did you buy the enhanced GM product as well as the PC kit? Is it stricly monitoring or will it allow you to adjust parameters too? Sorry for the 20 (3) questions but their web site says "diagnostics". I'm looking to monitor (hopefully from the factory nav) and possibly adjustment later.

Oh sorry I didn't update, I was able to get the USB/OBDII cable to work with EasyOBDII software. It's kinda limited but you can see some really cool stuff on the fly. I bought a copy of DashCommand but it won't recognize my USB connection to the computer yet. I haven't figured out if I'm doing something wrong of if the software doesn't support USB (think that's pretty strange if it didn't so I think it's me that's the problem) I posted something on their support forum, will update this thread later with pics I hope.

try and change the COM port to get the software to talk to the cable. I use EFI Live and also have autotap, both are nice, EFI live having a great visual interface. PM me for info on where to pick one of the kits up.( Mods remove this if its not cool to post this)
