Ok so I picked up a used Escalade roof rack. I jumped the gun and had the end pieces painted already. But after looking at all the pieces again I realized I was missing pieces to it. I did a search on here already, I didn’t find anything. Does anyone have a step by step or any associated pics to go along with the install? Thank you in advance.

Yes. There is a stickied thread right at the top of the 2000-2006 discussion forums. Check it out here: https://www.tahoeyukonforum.com/threads/escalade-roof-rack-part-numbers-with-diagram.22119/
It’s a list of all the correct parts for the Escalade rack setup and a detailed how to. The swap itself is fairly easy. You’re probably missing the small anchor nuts that go into the middle slot on the underside of your rack. It’s a common part that often gets misplaced for them. They are also a bit difficult to acquire.

My apologies. My previous post was a detailed part number diagram but not a how to of the actual swap itself. Looking back here is the thread I followed when I made my esky rack swap with my Denali a couple of years ago. It’s oretty detailed. Should be easy to follow: https://www.tahoeyukonforum.com/threads/escalade-roof-rack-and-how-to.27966/
This tread is on a newer generation suv but the process is the same on the 2006.
