Hey I own a 99 tahoe was looking to replace the speakers in the way back but not sure on what size they are

If they mean the rearmost speakers, according to Crutchfield, they're 4x10

Remember, kids: "SOUND is ROUND".

If the rear speakers are similar to the ones that I had on my 1997 Yukon (RIP), they were 4x10 speakers. I replaced them with a set of 4x10 'retro' speakers from Crutchfield. They worked great, and they had 2 coaxial tweeters, versus the original speakers which had only one.
