Sold one of my auction vics and needed a back up burban for my business

All this is in Dallas area so RUST FREEEEEEEEE BABY !!!!!!!!!:favorites37:

So I had 5 trucks on my "Purchase list" from market place, Worst one a '01 LS base Suburban that I drove 50 miles to Denton, TX + I had to meet him at a Walmart parking lot and the seller was sketchy bs'er and didn't mention the multiple misfires PCM code on my scanner and A/C not working, Nasty trashed interior asking $2500 with 250K miles on it :emotions122: PASS !!!!!

Then I find this sweet gem just only 10 minutes from my home. I had been trying to get this one for the last few weeks but the seller wouldn't respond. Well I got super lucky on Monday and the guy who posted responded and it was NOT the owner but his friend and told me to meet him at his office where the truck was stored

Story is this rig was used as a DFW Airport private plane company shuttle last 5 years. So they kept the interior very nice !! Even found some airplane magazine the seat pockets

Clean Carfax
2001 "Burban" LT
LM7/2WD
194K miles on body. Was told engine replaced and now has 100K miles ?? No paper work but runs VERY smooth !!
Traction control, (Working) Sunroof, GT4/G80

Only issues are ABS/trac light on, needs Shocks, rear glass struts/ Body wise a bad dent on lft driver qtr

Once this #$%@ ice storm is out im gonna start doing some basic maintenance !! Plugs/wires, Coolant flush, trans fluid/filter, PS/brake flush replace all filters(air/Fuel/Cabin) Mobil 1 oil change, K&N filter and then ext/int LED upgrade :driver:

and those nasty 16's going bye bye for some 17" Fat fives :smoke2:

Owner was a accountant and had $$$ driving a new BMW so to him this truck was no big deal Asking $2700. Final cash price for me $2300 :chewie::gr_grin:

What a find! That's 1/3 what I paid for my 04 Z71 Tahoe in October. Used market in the northeast is off the charts!

Dave,

Congrats on the score!

I appreciate you giving me the mechanic's contact info. Ended up going with a new shop a block away from my house. Convenience factor won this time.

Ya last few weeks there's been nothing but junk in my price range(Under $3000) so I feel VERY lucky to have gotten this one at the price I paid. But I LOVE DFW area most cars go for STUPID cheap down here !! TONS of wholesale dealers that make $$$ on volume vs per unit. I see 07-14 burbans and tahoe, esky's for under $10K in daily driver condition !!!!
