be sure to check out the back (closest to bulk head) bolts on the exhaust manifolds when you replace the plugs and wires, the 6o's (Lq9 & 4) were notorious for those bolts snapping and possibly causing exhaust leaks.... so you might as well tackle those right away and replace them when you toss some JBA cat 4 wards on there or nice n pricey long tubes.... dooooooo iiiiiiiitttt

dont be afraid of working on these trucks yourself... as long as you have the time and patience they are incredibly easy to fix / modify / work on in general.... lotsa help in all the forums too...

I'm going to clean it up tomorrow and I'll take some, didn't trust the dealership to wash it.lol Before I left the lot a worker there told me it belonged to his grandpa who passed away in 2009, then his dad had it, it's been garages it's whole life, all work done by dealer. I opened the glove box and found a thick folder with the original bill of sale, inspection receipts, oil changes, only work has been speed sensor and brakes. I'm still going thru them.

Waiting on my nephew to come over and help me change the wheels out, can't do it myself, my oxygen hose doesn't reach that far and I'm low on portable.
