New LED taillights install.

I purchased some updated lights for my 2000 Tahoe from Amazon. I really do love these lights. I have always stayed away from LED lights because of the look. I never found anything that caught my attention until I found these! I have both day and night shots but the poor quality of these photos for the dark shots does not do the lights any justice! Biggest problem is that when night fell the lights are so bright for some reason (which never happened before) my phone could not compensate for it.

I will try next time with better pics.

Which headlights are you getting?

Not sure yet. I've seen these on Amazon as well https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01FBDY0F...UTF8&colid=3FWMT477AUQRT&coliid=I4HLG27547TS1 . I like them. Cheap, and easy replacement. I would like however to find something with a very light tint. Not enough to hamper driving but just a bit dark to compliment the taillights.

Those look good. So the "C" part and rhe leds light up as running lights?

Also I didn't realize the bottom part bulges out. why do aftermarket companies do that with all the tails?!

Yup the "C" lights up pretty bright and it's dang cool looking at that. As for the bulge. I don't get that either. Sometimes you just want a "clean look" without someone adding a look that serves no real purpose.

As much as I love these lights I am leaving nothing to chance. I still have my originals under the back seat just to be on the safe side while these lights get a proper shakedown. They are out of the way and add nothing to the weight of the vehicle. So "IF" they decide to fail I can slap the originals back on.
