Hey guys-

As the title says, I am a new Tahoe owner located in Nashville, TN

I found this forum a short time ago and since then it has been a wealth of information.

I thought I would share some pics of my ride since everyone on here has been so helpful.

My birthday was a couple of weeks ago and I decided to surprise myself with a new toy.

These pics are "as-purchased" so they show my truck just as I bought it.

Some details:
2008 LTZ 4x4
Supercharged
K&N Cold Air Intake
Upgraded Cam
Upgraded Exhaust

So far I have bought a few mods, thanks mostly to the forum here (will post some pics later)

22" TBSS wheels wrapped in Bridgestone 305/45/r22's - from Tony (installed yesterday)

2/3 drop from Tony - to be installed Friday

DJM front and rear sway bars from Tony - to be installed Friday.

Here are some pics, I have more if anyone is interested:

Thanks man, it does run quick - but only in a straight line, hence the sway bar upgrades and suspension upgrades. I'm hoping it will run a little more like what I have become used to (my current daily driver is a Cadillac STS-V) around town.

Here is a quick (albeit crappy) cell phone pic from my office with the 22" TBSS wheels and tires and the G5 tail lights.

I will post more/better pics when i get some more stuff finished.

Looks much better....after the drop she will be sittin' pretty.......the repros' give it more of a cleaner, meaner look. I wish they had G5's for the NBS. Those lights make a huge improvement on the rear especially if you had a Denali--those are terrible......

NiCe WoRk!!

What kinda horsepower are you getting with the charger? And fuel economy difference from stock?

Nice ride!!! I'll be in Nashville the end of the month. Can't wait! Should I expect snow? Need pics of the STS-V!!!

magnachargers themselves will not alter your gas mileage until you go into "boost." Basically, if you have a boost guage, keep it at 0.0 while driving. If you mash on the pedal, you'll go into boost and start sucking down gas.

I thought superchargers made the vehicle get better mpgs as long as you don't drive with a lead foot?

Well I can't be 100% sure since I haven't had it on the dyno, but the way I was told (and based on some reasonable assumptions) i think she has every bit of 450HP maybe more, maybe a little less...

As far as the gas mileage, I have only the one frame of reference but so far after 4-5 tanks of gas my best guess is about 10-11MPG city, 14-15MPG highway.

But I have also had my foot in it most of the time (bad habit)

Cool, dunno about the snow but if you don't like the weather when you get here, stick around cause it will change.

Here is a pic of my STS-V (about to be retired - looking for a new home):
