New CV Axle leaking

Not 100% sure about this...but are the aftermarket cv axles supposed to leak any amount of grease at all? There is some black moly coming out both sides of the driver's outboard boot.

I wouldn’t think that any CV boot should leak grease because that means dirt or water can get in. Sorry

Yeah, I wouldn't think so either. Probably got a defective unit. Have you tried to cinch up those metal bands at each end? Maybe they didn't tighten them all the way.
