new 2/3 kit. Install?

Just won a 2/3 drop kit for my 2002 z71 and I am trying to save some money on the install? How many of you guys did the installation yourself? and was it pretty in-depth or is it do-able? The kicker is i dont have much experience working on cars. Should I try it or take it to a pro?

Check the sticky section at the top of the tech forum. There should be a thread on the 2/3 install. Then you can decide if you want to take it on yourself.

the sticky write up is spot on. a damn good how to. go get a gear puller from auto zone and go for it.
