Need seat help

I’ve got an 08 z71 Tahoe with power adjustable heated seats.

whenever I try to reposition the seat forward, backward, up, or down I has to constantly move the switch and the seat will move slightly every 5th or so try.

When I try to use the heated seats the lights in the button come on for about 10 seconds and then shut off and does not heat the seat.

could these two problems be related? Everything I’ve read about seat adjustment sounds like I need a new track and I’ve read some stuff about a connection burning out for the heated seats.

any advice is much appreciated.

Your seat adjustment sounds like a bad switch assembly. They are rather easy to replace and run under $100.

The heat issue might be a bad connection in the harness under the seat or a failed heater element in the seat.
