2018 Tahoe

So I keep my 3rd folded down and my second row are captain seats. Does anyone know of a barrier or insert to stick behind the captain chairs to stop things from coming from the cargo area into the second row through the gap?

I do a lot of shopping with my Tahoe for my convenience store and would have preferred a bench seat for second row. Use to have a 2004 Tahoe with the bench which worked great. So essentially I’m trying to to make the back of the second row captain chairs into a bench from the backside of it.

I’ve been searching but nothing solid.

I’ve read office chair floor mat and that seems it might work but need one that does not fold over

Links of anything or ideas will be appreciated

Thank you for that. I did check them out before I made this post. They were just about the only company i seen that makes anything like this but looking for more options also.

Something that i can possibly insert behind both captain chairs with the width being from end to end

How about something that is both useful and functional, if you are into audio? A subwoofer.

Mine is not bolted down, but it never moves on its own. I can remove it or relocate it as needed, since I have high amperage quick disconnects on the speaker wire. Please excuse all the white hair, because my White German Shepherds like to sit on it and look over my shoulder, while I am driving down the road. It also serves as a table for folks sitting in the 2nd row on longer drives.

Good weekend project: A piece of luan or plywood, jig saw to fit, cover with your choice of materials.

A template would help. If you find something, please post it; many of us look for the same thing.

I ended up going with the canvasback universal gap cover.

I had to pay to ship it back to them though, to adjust the positioning of the straps because it was too loose.

It’s a lot better after they made the adjustments but it’s not perfect but it does get the job done for the purpose I need

The hard plastic in the middle is advertised as holding 80lbs so it’s been holding up when I lay the seats down and put heavy cargo on it when shopping

It amazes me though that a company has not come out with a custom product for this.

Link for whoever wants to check it out
