Need info on parts interchange 2005 suburban to a 2003 yukon xl

We have a 2005 suburban z71 that was totaled by our insurance company. Just bought a 2003 yukon xl. Can the stock z71 nerf type running boards fit the yukon xl? Hard time finding anything with parts interchanges. Thanks.

Yes, the step bars will fit. But the lower plastic cladding/trim will NOT fit without some minor changes. You will have to drill holes to get the mounting clups for the cladding to secure to the 03. I believe that they are riveted to the 05 Z71.
