Well I dont like how the rear Escalade lights look so talked to my paint guy and now deciding what we are going to do . I think body colored will look best

yeah we will also prob do a black line to make it look like there is a gap there. kinda look like our current esclade.

Body colored. That was the exact idea I would have done with it if and when I get one. Then tint the tails as well. Kinda suxs to paint over a light but god I hate how big they are. Also on a side note you think you might take it to SEMA. I have talked to Beltech about maybe using my Escalade for SEMA. Would be cool to do a new and older style at their booth.

Roels one of my buddies there and in order to get it in their booth would have to be the same red as their other trucks. Its not happening lol

Yeah.. I mean I didn't say it was def. But talked to them about it and said they didn't have a plan for it this year and when they did they would keep me in mind. So we will see if not oh well. It was worth a try.

I like the idea of painting the tails. Will the upper painted part of the light still be visible when the brake or turn signal is applied?

If done right it can. Might kinda look getto tho too.

Maybe the denali appliques and tail lights will swap over. That would be another option.

This thread reminds me of the guys on the C7 forums who want to retrofit round lights from the C6 -- we want GM to change and push the designs and then we don't. LOL
