Well guys... I got close but hit a few small road blocks. First off..... Somehow the camera on the front of my phone got shattered....so no pics of today's progress....

One of the road blocks of today was my ARH Y pipe. I got it back in June, and never looked at the connector to mate it up to my stock cat back. I have the flange/flex pipe cat back, but they sent me a ball type pipe. I don't blame ARH, I should've checked that months ago. The ARH longtubes slipped in like soft butter, they are beautiful. The other thing I have to battle is one of the trans cooler lines. It almost fits but I need to bend a line a bit. I needed like 3 more hours and it would be done.

Any decent exhaust shop can change the connector on the truck to a ball and socket type. Don’t want to cut up ARH parts. Sounds like you’re close. Let’s hear it!

Any chance your hubby is a weldurr? Don't let that exhaust hold you up! Hundreds are being kept in suspense!

As a matter of fact, he is! Thank you for this link, you just saved me a ton of time figuring this out. I only need this to work for a few weeks.

The stock exhaust is only going to be on for a little while longer, because I want 3" true duals when I get my tax money back. The tailpipes will be hidden like I did for the old 05 tahoe I used to have.

Thanks again, this was stressing me out all night.

True duals? So you were gonna cut the Y-pipe anyway, yeah?

Yeah, that Y-pipe was gonna be cut anyhow. But for today, I am going to just cut the end of it off like you showed me, and cut the flange off my stock Y-pipe, weld it on to the ARH system, and mate It up to the stock system. After I get my taxes back or if *****bux comes, I will be doing true duals. I would do it now, but I'm still deciding on what mufflers I want, and the awesome exhaust shop I go to is booked up for a few weeks.

:superhack::superhack::superhack::weld::weld::weld:

After cutting the flange off my stock Y-pipe, I bolted it to the stock system to get it clocked properly. I may have drawn a couple of lines along the length of the pipe, crossing the butt joints so I'd have references when I took it off the Tahoe to weld it out.
