Well … my build showed up at dealer today without notice or ever showing up on inventory. WS appeared for first time last Wednesday. Going to go take a thorough look tomorrow mid day. My ‘23 order is still status 1100. I’m thinking if all looks good on this one I save the $7k and take the ‘22 vs waiting for ‘23

So far so good? No issues found after taking delivery?

Nothing major yet, just crossed over 500 mile mark. The tires seemed to be flat spotted or not balanced on the factory wheels during test drive, but we later swapped over our previous truck's wheels as part of the trade, so not an issue for us. The USB ports don't work, they seem to think its a port issue, so they ordered a new part. Also, the headlights coming on during the day issue, so I will have them reprogram per the TSB when I go in for the USB issue.

It does tend to blow my mind that these issues aren't checked in PDI. Like I would think part of the PDI should be the dealer checks and applies any and all software updates...esp since these things have been sitting for months.

Come to think of it, that suggestion is feedback you should provide in your GMC sales survey when they send it to you next week...

I gave them the TSB's for the headlight and remote start issues before delivery (I was on vacation when it hit the lot), so either the software was already up to date, the headlight sensor is bad, or they didn't check. I'll let you guess what is most probable.

I did a full walk through of the truck today. Everything is functional on the truck. However, paint dullness in some spots was a concern. I had them keep the truck tonight to polish and polymer coat the entire truck in the morning. Once completed I will take another look. I also had a balancing issue(possible flat spots) on tires. The dealer is going to take care of that before final delivery tomorrow.

The latest on the finding after sitting idle at midlothian May- October…

Clay bar and polymer coating completed by dealer. Paint looks good feels smooth.

The tires still have a vibration at hwy speeds. Seem to have flat spots on tires. Not sure if it’s 2 or all 4. Anyone else experience this? How did dealer remedy?

I'd have them swap a whole new/different set out and have you test drive to see if it's any better - if it is - then unmount/remount/rebalance. If still bad - you know it's the tires.

we are currently waiting on some dicey weather here in Dallas Fort Worth area. I don't know what the dealers' obligations are to tell you about hail damage (someone on this forum likely knows the rules) but it's worth watching the news to see if midlothian gets any sizeable hail today.

Put a deposit on our ‘23 SLT 4x4 8/22, took delivery yesterday. She sat in Midlothian a solid eight weeks but the seats ventilate,
so I guess we got that goin’ for us.

I am at week 3 in Midlothian for our '23 Denali XL, hoping we don't have to wait 8 as well....Update via chat today was basically a non-update. "Upon checking, your new vehicle is in Midlothian TX and has been released to a carrier and just waiting to be shipped, however, there is no estimated date of arrival yet to the next destination in Lordstown OH."

That's what my vehicle said for months.
