So i have a 08 yukon on 24s...i really want to drop the back but i have one concern. I am towing a boat all summer, when the boat is on the car, my rear end drops about 2 and a half inches. If i add the 2" drop that will bring me down to a total of 4 and a half inches or so, would that be an issue? and also would the drop be able to handle the weight?

i would get an air bag helper for the rear. i have them for 155.00 shipped i think it would be a good idea to have one even if you dont lower the rear.
thank you tim

air bag helpers are in addition to your factory suspension. they help raise the back end up when a load is placed on it.
thank you tim

That woudl work no problem. You would Air up the Helper bags when you are gonna be towing the boat and then air them down when you are not towing anything.

Tim -- Do you have pics of an '07+ Tahoe with the rear-only leveling kit? I'm interested in this kit.

Thanks,

oh ok i just heard about the goodguys car show over the radio just now. sounds like its going to be a big event...

but anyway its the factory shocks... front coil-over-shock suspension, if that's of any help.

Tim -- For the rear 2" kit, does the kit consist of ONLY springs? (Do I only NEED springs to drop the rear?) I'm familiar with the suspension of my previous Tahoe, but not the new body style ones yet...

Also, if I installed the rear lowering kit, and I found that it was too low for me, could I throw a spacer in there to raise it a hair?

Finally, I have autoride. Which part number(s) would I need? Again, not looking to lower the front -- only the rear.

Thanks!
