Locking front hubs

2016 Tahoe. Just curious this year Tahoe comes with switch control for 4wd locking the front hubs. Has anyone converted to manually locking front hubs?

IMO, that is not possible with the hub design of a cv axle. If it is, I would be completely surprised because have never ever seen it. I have done bunches of the old style straight axles, at the front.
