LMC e-fan

I have been looking at doing e-fan's for my 95 Tahoe and in the LMC catalog they sell one its a single e-fan, where as the Flexlite ones have dual fans, is the LMC kit one to stay away from or what, and does anyone on here have the LMC kit I know a few people have the Flexlite one, thanks for the help

That kit shows a single 16" fan.

IDK about the TBI's, but with a Vortec you have room for two 16" fans.

18" Fan aftermarket or from a Lincoln town car will fit into our OEM shroud and have NO problems cooling the engine!

Are those the flex-a-lite 280 fans on yalls trucks? just wondering... im about to drop the money to get a set and put them in. flex-a-lite says that its anywhere from 1-3 mpg gains with these fans... that is if everything else is working properly.

I have see the years but it is the big boxy one's with the rag top. Have the rear air compressor in it.

Where did you guys get the metal to make a shroud?

Mine are not Flex-a-lite fans, they are procomps off of ebay. I got the metal from my local building supply place, they sell pipe and all sorts of cool shit. It was $30 for a 3x3 piece or so ... I cut it out with an electric grinder with a cut off wheel ...

yep... havent seen any increase in mpgs if thats what your asking.

Yea. well dont you have just headers on your truck atomic? That wont help to much... i dont ever get my truck over 1800 rpm... and if it doesnt give mileage gains owell... gives me more room to run the supercharger on the new 383 thats going in.

headers has nothing to do with good or bad gas mileage here. I had the fans before the headers and didnt notice any mpg increase.. Also if you "plan" on a supercharger, your going to need headers.....

and if you baby your truck not going over 1800 rpms, whats the point of a supercharger?

yea buddy. i cant even keep my 01 grand prix 3.1 under 1800 rpms, shit, entrance ramp on the freeway, 6500 till i get that damn 70mph.. lol
