Are those the flex-a-lite 280 fans on yalls trucks? just wondering... im about to drop the money to get a set and put them in. flex-a-lite says that its anywhere from 1-3 mpg gains with these fans... that is if everything else is working properly.
headers has nothing to do with good or bad gas mileage here. I had the fans before the headers and didnt notice any mpg increase.. Also if you "plan" on a supercharger, your going to need headers.....
and if you baby your truck not going over 1800 rpms, whats the point of a supercharger?
... I got the metal from my local building supply place, they sell pipe and all sorts of cool shit. It was $30 for a 3x3 piece or so ... I cut it out with an electric grinder with a cut off wheel ...
