Little help for a new guy

I’m sure it’s been talked about many times but does anyone know of a place that sells the gear selector cable to linkage bushing for 2009 Tahoe 6 speed? Can’t seem to find one.

Post the last 8 digits of your VIN and maybe @915_Tahoe can at least give you a part number.

I looked and if all you need is the lower cable that number is, I think, 20787608. I did not see just the bushing listed. Also says must replace upper cable at same time and that number, again I think, is 25995564.

Plus I looked up as a 4x4 and not just RWD since you did not say.

Bushing not serviced separate. Must also replace upper cable when replacing lower cable, due to design change.

Does that mean that the 8 digits indicate it is a RWD?

@915_Tahoe, of course I don't doubt the part number you gave but I was curious what part of the last 8 digits gives whether it is 2wd or 4wd?

When I look up parts for my friends at RA, I get a little confused with some of the terminology and even more confused looking up the parts at a GM parts warehouse.
