So the little ones got ahold of the only key I had to my 07 Tahoe. What would be best way of getting my key problem fixed? Get a locksmiths to come make a new key some how or drill key chamber and put whole new ignition?

I bought truck from uncle in tx and haven't registered it here in Alabama yet because I've been slowly getting everything good for inspection to a Alabama title so I have no registration for it at this point other than a Texas title and bill of sale and dealership wants it registered in my name before they will help me out. And got to have a key to get the truck to DMV

Ask your uncle to get the key for you and ship it. But only thing is the key would have to be programmed to the truck. I think you need the tech2 for that, or your best bet is a locksmith.

well your kind of in a pickle because the key unlocks the doors also, so if you have to change the ignition then your looking at re-keying the door lock/s
I would say bite the bullet and call the locksmith, maybe he can pick it and make a original key but he's going to charge extra to program it also
if you get a key you can do the 30 minute relearn yourself

i agree with ask your uncle for help, keep looking for the key! Buy their favorite treat, set it on the table and say " when you bring me my key you can have your treat" When one of them lead you by the hand to the bathroom and point at the toilet and say "it's in there" know that it is time to stop looking! lol.
