key is chipped so it would need to me programmed to truck, that's easy: start vehicle with original key, remove key insert new key within 10 seconds and start and done. fob can be done in a simple way as well. you can go factory key or aftermarket.

Fob you can go factory or aftermarket. there's a vender that sells upgraded fobs from 14+ to work on the nnbs.

I bought my second fob and key from a local locksmith. It cost about $75, which included the locksmith's time to program it to my specific truck. I was in and out in less than 15 minutes.

Didn’t think that process to program keys or FOB’s worked on 2013 and newer vehicles.

I bought the keys and fobs on ebay. <$10 for both. Had Home Depot cut the keys for $4. Programmed them myself, and for <$14 I have two spare keys and fobs.

Didn’t use the fob, bought the aftermarket upgrades from boost auto that look like the ‘14+ worked great, no problems out of the fobs either other then the chrome started peeling probably buy the cases i saw linked on here and try to swap the guts into the new case eventually pretty sure you plug in the dongle the horn honks and you press lock and unlock at the same time then you will hear the locks cycle and its programmed, but its been a while. 2C181318-C35A-4FB4-A26D-D1D7B3205D97.png

If you have a tech2 its special function under bcm i believe you should have clear and add as an option, could be under the rcdlr but i feel like that might have been a chrysler programming option but same thing once you start the procedure you just hold lock and unlock. Random thought alot ‘06+ of trucks that had power locks and no fobs were also capable of adding keyless entry for without calling in the upgrade did it for alot of my friends when i worked at the dealership just by programming the keyfobs.

I added and deleted fobs from my '03 using a process with the key and hoping on 1 foot/rubbing my belly! Super easy - I saw the add a Fob in the Tech2 but was hesitant because I didn't want to delete my known working one from the truck but sound like that is the process. Anyone confirm????

True when programming FOBs on an NBS. The first thing that happens is the existing FOBs are deleted from the truck. Not sure about NNBS.
