I’m wondering if anyone knows if K2 running boards fit on a 900? I did a Google search and found people saying they will, won’t, or need to be modified but didn’t say what the modification was and most of those answers were related to pickup trucks and not SUVs.

You have K2 boards on yours? I was considering getting a set from the RST/Graphite Edition with the black trim piece if they fit or just buying a set of base Tahoe boards that are correct for a 900 that don’t have the trim piece at all. I haven’t found part numbers for the black trim piece ones yet but I can still get the main part of the base Tahoe board new, they’re just not cheap. Mine has a decent amount of wear at the driver door and has some fading. I’ve wanted new ones forever but they’re pretty expensive.

I vinyl wrapped the chrome strip on the lower power side steps of my old K2XX Yukon XL in gloss black and it held up great for at least 3+ years. No chips, rips, or peeling. Which honestly surprised me given their location so close to the ground.

Not sure after that cause the vehicle was later totaled by a drunk driver.

My main reason for wanting to buy new boards is that my plastic doesn’t look that great. That chrome piece is supposed to come off, so you could probably get the edges wrapped if so and it would hold up.
