Engine came FHO from factory so its not e85 ready my fault I'm an idiot

Has anyone had any issues runing a BBP tune adjusting to e85? 2nd time this week I'm getting a P0171 lean code I am trying to run e85 now I was under the impression while runing the Black Bear performance tune it should adjust to e85 normally?
My freeze frame data is showing 34% for both LTFT any suggestions ?
P.s. I tested the e85 it's good to go tested at e83

I think it depends on the tune. Recently did my tune and I have an 87/89 tune and a 92 high octane tune, which I assume is for running E85, since I have the 5.3 flex fuel. I did send BB a message asking for clarification.

I have been running on the BBP high octane tune and E85 for better than six months with no issues. You sure you don’t have a vacuum leak?
No leak last time I checked also is the e85R percentage value supposed to change at all ? Mine stays constant @ 9.8%?

Which engine do you have? Do you normally use 92 oct.
5.3 L83 flex fuel engine
Has been on 93 octane for years until now that I've started modding the engine and have been switching to E85
Engine has 80k miles

I’ll let you know what BB tells me when they respond. I use E85 every so often for the cleaning benefits as it’s about the same cost as 87 but burns up faster. I’ve never ran super unleaded in mine.

If that's what the scanner is telling you the alcohol % in the tank is, then the PCM isn't calculating that properly. It'll run lean since it's not delivering enough fuel to the engine.

Unless I'm mistaken you'll need injectors that can deliver more fuel for the e85 volume. I don't know what injectors you have.

Dummy plug and extra fuel line extension removed from vehicle
E85 sensor and DSX tuning QC coupler installed
Easy peasy, had BBP send over a new tune with enabled e85 . Very simple
