I'm still weighing my options when it comes to a leveling kit/new tires and was curious if anyone had pics of their vehicle running all-terrain tires in the stock size. Preferably with 20" wheels, but 18" would also be interesting to see.
Is anyone running all-terrain tires in the stock size?

Following. I'm buying a 2015 Tahoe LT tomorrow and asked the dealer about swapping the 18" wheels with Goodyear Duratracs from a pickup they have. I like the look of the Z71 Tahoe's, but am on the fence about swapping wheels. Curious of the opinions here as I am new to the forum.

Some things I have learned when I was searching. You can choose 17, 18, 20 or 22 inch wheels. There are tires sized for each that have the same outside diameter. If you are looking for off road tire options stay away from the 22s. There are more options for the 20s but they are still plenty wide and the tread depth is less by 5/32s or so. The 18 inch tires are noticeably more expensive than either the 17s or the 20s. If I was shopping for the most off road capable setup I would run steel wheels with 17” Duratrac or Falken Wild Peak AT3w tires.

I currently run 18" all terrains on my Colorado (Silverado Z71 take off wheels). I agree that the 18" appears to be the most costly.

18" tires will end up giving you the most tread, they are usually a couple mm deeper than those you find in a 20" or 22" tire for sure. The E load tires will for sure be more expensive, but you can find those in a LT rated tire in a lot of cases. If you are actually going to off road the tires, the E-rated will have a much stronger sidewall and more resistant to a rock puncture on the side (also more towing capacity). However you will get a stiffer ride, more similar to a 20 or 22" tire and wheel combo. The 18" wheel and tire (with an LT rated tire) will ride a little softer because you have more sidewall to absorb the bumps as well. Just a few things to think about when you are looking for wheels.

Mine is older body style, but I put Falken Wildpeaks on my factory 20" wheels. I really like the look, and handling is great.

These are fantastic tires.
How is the ride with the Duratrac's? Is there a lot of noise from the tires when you're on the highway? I have a 2019 and want to stay with the stock 18 inch wheels.I have stock sized 18" Goodyear Duratracs.

I ran a set of duratrac tires on an 03 Z71 burb and they were pretty loud and got louder as they wore. I didn't mind but my wife did. I will say they were a great tire off the pavement.

Nitto Ridge Grapplers or Terra Grapplers or Falcon Wildpeaks? What are your thoughts? I’m on the market for new tires soon and want a little more aggressive tread pattern but was worried that they may be too loud for highway driving. Currently have the Goodyear Wrangler SR-A. They are quite and smooth. Keeping the tire size stock 275/55/20. Any feedback/recommendations appreciated.

I am currently running the Terra Grapplers. They are definitely louder than Michelins or most Goodyears, the noise does not bother me - but I am pretty forgiving of most things truck related, it could possibly annoy someone with sensitive ears or music enthusiasts listening to the radio. They don't really humm or rumble - kinda have their own sound hard to describe, but you know they are there. That being said - they are great tires, super grippy tread, real nice highway ride, smooth and stable, corner well. I love the Goodyear Duratracs on my 15 Tahoe and they have been pretty impressive so far. I don't think they really that much noisier than the BFG AT KO2 tires I had on my truck. I spend 70-80% of my time on dirt and gravel access roads, occasional creek crossings and mud. The traction is excellent.

The Duratraks I ran got louder as the miles added up. I had some Falken Wild peak after that and they were pretty quiet. Can’t speak for the Nitto tires. Currently running Cooper AT3 4S on 22” wheels and happy with them. Not loud at all.

I did with several of my Escalade's for the upstate NY winters, used stock 18" Escalade rims
