I found some new genuine gm manifolds pulled from a new engine, on ebay for $200 both left and right.
i pulled the trigger on them since there was only 2 sets left. Anyone think it would be worth returning for a set of BBK shorty headers for $599?
im thinking about a 210 btr cam but havent decided yet.
Depends on the cam you choose as well as how you drive - maybe ask BTR?

Instead of returning them, bet someone here would appreciate you selling them ...

just a little update- parts are rolling in, got the btr stage 2 truck cam but think i might return it for the truck norris nsr. afe magnum force stage 2 Cai, little misc. shit like fuel pressure sensor, harness. found out the l8t throttle body is not compatible with the ECU so i was forced to buy a 95mm LT5 tb out of a 2019 corvette zr1. i don’t know how i found this website down the rabbit hole but it may be handy for anyone wanting to dress up the engine bay - siliconeintakes.com

plan on flipping the motor over on the stand next week and putting the cam in. then the oil pan and other little shit as time allows

Update on the build:
Got the cam and springs swapped out, CAI, throttle body, motor mounts, basically every other peripheral is in hand ready. Even though the transmission was just rebuild with a new converter ill probably be getting a new circle d with a higher stall - 2400-2600. Just picking at it here and there after the kids go to bed etc. Will be putting the cam limiter in tomorrow and reassembling the front of the motor. and the oil pan and flippin her back over. I have a whole shitload of brand new 6.6 parts to sell, unfortunately i am nowhere close to 100 posts or any of the other requirements. There should be some
other way of verification. Oh well, I’m over 20 years on ebay and 100% feedback.

Guess it will go on facebook or craigslist!


Shes all back together and ready to be dropped in, its going to kill me to wait until January but it is what it is. Just dont have the time right now and will wait for Christmas bonus to get a few other things like a circle d TQ with a higher stall and MAYBE some kooks long tubes.

I dont know. I dont want to break any rules. As soon as i post what i have for sale here im sure someone will slap my hand.

If anybody wants anything, let me know. Im keeping the camshaft to put back in the 5.3 when i pull it out and overhaul it.

That's awful purty! Those headers look fine as is. How many torques and HPs do you think she'll do as she sits?

The modified 2016 Chevy Tahoe with the L8T 6.6L crate engine swap (stock rated at 401 hp and 464 lb-ft) and the listed bolt-ons would likely produce around 480-520 crankshaft horsepower and 500-550 lb-ft of torque at the flywheel, based on dyno testing of similar L8T builds
