Interior Door Panels (Reproduction or used OEM)?

I have a 1998 Chevy Tahoe 2-door with the tan leather interior. Drivers side interior door panel is SHOT! I know I can find cheaper (used) options on eBay. But my plan is to keep this truck long term (It's already been 20 years of ownership) so I'm wondering if it's worthwhile to go the reproduction route? If you've been in this situation, what did you use?

See if LMC or Brothers carries your panels. They generally have decent quality stuff. You might also look on eBay for NOS panels. I’d look in this direction, new, bc used are at least 28 years old. You might even get lucky here. There’s a pretty big group of NBS owners. @OR VietVet may knew a source.

I would try the LMC route. Like @Big Mama said. I am not a fan of interior panel purchases from ebay.

Wondering if LMC, Brothers, and Classic Industries are all selling the same product, or three unique products from different manufacturers?

What can you tell us about your experience? What brand?

So in my area, many yards to pull from. Repops don't have the holes in the right place and or doesn't take hardware like oem. Find original panels and or parts. OEM of anything has a patent. So when someone as in a company makes a repop it will be off. That's why u or I see folks looking for oe parts. I know I would buy a whole truck just to have original parts. Just saying that if I was in ur position, I would go with oem parts. The quality is very noticeable!

Here’s a video on the Coverlay panels (with viewer comments), maybe it’ll give you an idea of how they look. The ones in the video are gray, but it’s hard to tell how close the color match is to the dash.
