6000K HID fogs and 6000K HID Headlights. I left one stock fog light to show the difference in the pic. I have had 8k before and decided to go 6k this time. Im sticking to 6k from now on. These are 35W.

For me it was. Got a few tickets when I had 8000K's also. The 6000k has a slight blue hue but the 8k is bluer. The best way to see the differences is to go on youtube and type in the color bulb you want to see and write HID. You will see 10000000 videos that people have. I prefer 6000k.

Yeah, those are sort of mid-range high-quality ballasts, too. Figured you'd be looking cheaper, but thought I'd throw them out there.

35w or 55w?!?!? Which is better

Sent from my iPod touch using Tapatalk

DDM FTW. I have had them for a few years now and have only lost one balast and I think it was my fault ( i think i got it to wet)

I have 55W 10,000K in the lows and 35W 6000K in the highs of my Silverado SS. The 55W are bright as hell but is distorts the color If you were to get 35W 10,000K they would be much much bluer then 55W 10,000K. Here is a pic of the 55W 10,000K in my Truck

As you can see they are much whiter being 55W

I have 35W 6000K in the Low's of my Tahoe. Here is a pic along the the 3000K I have in my Fogs

So If you were to get 55W remember that it distorts the color temp. 10,000K look more like 6,000. 8,000K look more like 5,000k etc.....

Also remember the higher the color temp the less light they put out on the road

So I ordered from DDM and it came from china!? I'm hoping this is correct but I'm not quit sure

yep ddm comes from china now, straight from manufacture, why they are cheaper than others. I ordered last week and got some today. Box dented, but all are good. Pretty quick shipping surprisingly.

If you have extra wires, just ignore them unless you need them. I've found that policy works a lot better and is less stressful than trying to create a use for them. ;)

You dont need directions for hids, its simple plug and play. The extra harness you have was probly a mistake, but one thing i learned from their mistakes is they will charge you once they find out they sent it to you. I had sent in a warranty bulb and they sent back my whole order again. But in the end, charged me again.

But like scott said, if you dont need it, dont stress on making it work somewhere. If its extra relay harness, sell it. Folks could always use that.
