I dont really like mud flaps except on my 18 wheeler but i hate when front doors and rear bumper is dirty all the time. Plus had issues on my 07 Tahoe LTZ paint chipping from rear bumper. So after buying 16' Denali i decide to go after some mud flaps. Problem is since i have power retractable steps, front GM mud flaps wont work. And like many of you know Husky is the only one who have front mud flaps that will work with retractable steps. I found some pics but not that many. So i decide to take some pics of my own

FYI retractable steps are close to the front mud guard like 1mm but thats not problem since they have a lot more clearence when they opensabout 3mm

I have to wait a few days to dry out. Next mod will be AVS in channel wind deflectors with better 3m double sided tape since original one isnt that good

Did you ever try the in-channel wind deflectors?

These AVS wind deflectors are in channel with 3m tape, i did get Weathertech in channel but didnt install them. Im still waiting on AVS wind deflector to fail and than ill install Weathertech. Btw Weathertech dont use 3m tape, you just slide them in channel

Help me out here community . I punched in the part number # 58201 for the front mud guards. My 17 Escalade with auto running boards. Husky site rejected it as a will not fit. What might be different? Is the shape of the fender different? It looks like they fit the Tahoe and GMC.

I think front are the same but rear are different. Husky front should fit from Yukon. Get it from Amazon. If they dont fit you can return it

Someone on another thread mentioned the 17s have a self park feature so the bumper is a different shape along and pilot holes in different places

A website called real truck shows the Husky flap fitting the 17 Esky with auto boards. So I bought them. Waiting for them now.

I received the mud flaps and installed them in no time. They work just fine with the auto running boards.
I'm interested in seeing if they have any effect on the snow and ice. From getting into the mechanical arms of the auto step. I have a heated garage so overnight it should all melt off by the next morning. On trips to other places in snow country where it is outside during below freezing weather. Is something that I haven't faced as of now. I chickened out last winter and went to FL. Nice!

This was my solution for mud flaps on my Escalade with power retractable running boards. I also used the Husky Front Mud Guard Part # 58201 but I use the WeatherTech Back Mud Flaps Part # 120037 for my Rear. Nice job I like it.

I wish Weather Tech make front for power running boards because Huskys front are kinda ugly but for now they will do job

Update. If you lowered front end 2" like i have with drop spindles, there is spot on these front WeatherTech mud guards where tire may get in contact with tire at about 80% turn but only if that tire/suspension is compressed and going in reverse. This is how i fixed mine
