How to release accessory belt tensioner?

Just like the title says... If you guys can tell or show me how to release the accessory belt tensioner I would appreciate it! Thank you

you mean to remove/replace the belt? just use an extension bar with a 3/8" drive end (maybe 1/2") and use the leverage to rotate the tensioner to loosen the belt. Do the same thing to put the belt on. Its tricky (to get the new belt routed around everything) but not hard.

The AC belt tensioner has a square hole to fit a ratchet into to pull the tensioner back but the main belt tensioner does not. On the main tensioner, you need to put a 15mm socket on it to pull it back.
