How do I keep the radio from automatically shutting off after about 10 minutes? I want to go to a drive in theater, but don’t want the hassle of every 10 min, the truck shuts off! Ugh, I can’t find anywhere to change setting for this!? It’s a 2018 Tahoe Premier....

I don’t think you can. The vehicle is designed to shut the power off so that you do not accidentally kill the battery. This impacts not only the radio, but also the lights if you leave them on. The only feature that I am aware of that is independent is the 4 way flashers

What about just leaving the truck in key on, engine off.?

You could wire a switch from the battery to your retained power circuit. But, again, why would just not put it in accessory mode?

Also, who knows what gremlins you might release if you wire up that switch...
