How do I know what tranny my Yukon Denali has?

Just like the title states. I have an 03 Silverado SS with the 6.0 and it has the 4L65E am I assume my Yukon has the same tranny?

In your glove box, there is a label with all your RPO codes.

You should have one of these two codes:
M30 = 4L60E
M32 = 4L65E

Do all the 6.0 have a 4l65E? Mine has a 5.3 with a 4l60E 6CPD is my trans code.

If you have 3 pedals on the floor and there's a big lever on the floor (between the seats and just behind the dash), it's a manual transmission. You have to shift this yourself. If there's a lever on the steering column and only 2 pedals on the floor, it's an automatic transmission. This will shift on it's own.
