Hey guys,
I'm looking at picking up a 2010-2012 Tahoe LTZ 4WD and wanted to find a good forum to get info and it seems I have found it.:) Anyways I have read a sticky about some common problems that may come up,but otherwise the Tahoe seems to be very reliable.

If there are any years that I should stay away from, let me know. Looking forward to contributing to the Forum!

Welcome , why only 2010 -2012, why not 13 and 14? Budget? As with anything all depends on who owned it before you.

Yeah,I have a price in mind and was trying to stick to it. I have found some 13 and 14 but they had high miles, around 175k and 180k miles.

Welcome. Here are a couple of threads with recent similar discussions, if you haven't already read them:

The AFM is hit or miss for most people. My 2011 had the AFM lifters go out at 109k, but this forum made me aware of the issue prior to purchasing the truck, and the Ally extended warranty/service contract I purchased with the truck covered the repairs (minus some gaskets and spark plugs). But many owners have not had an issue through 200k+.

Definitely a lot of information available here to do research before buying. Good luck!
