Hello. New member. not an owner yet. might be soon.
Anyway, quick question....If given the option of buying a CPO 2019 Yukon Denali (loaded) with 25k miles for nearly the same money as a 2022 Yukon SLT (very well equipped) for nearly the same money, which would you do? Keep in mind, the CPO comes with the 100k mile powertrain warranty as well as some bumper to bumper coverage. obviously, the 2022 has a new factory warranty. thanks in advance.

Welcome to the forum from Iowa.

I would go with the 2019 myself, but as has already been mentioned, drive them and see what you like.

25K isn’t a huge difference in the long run, in my opinion, especially with the warranty they are offering. I would make sure you fully understand exactly what the warranty covers and how hard it might be to get work done under the warranty.

Welcome from Miami Beach!

I would go with the CPO 2019 Denali without a doubt.

Before you buy anything make sure to check out the 2021+ section. Make sure you check out the Engine Drivetrain Section and the General Discussion section!!

Welcome from MA!

I would not hesitate to go with the CPO 2019 model.

I have purchased several CPO vehicles from dealers over the years. They were not GM, but they were always a good experience for me. Low mileage, new tires (usually).

Want to know the best part? The sales tax charged at time of sale is much lower than new and the annual MA state excise tax is lower to begin with.

Our latest purchase was a 2019 Honda CR-V last summer. It had 45k miles and the 2021 models were the exact same thing.

For me, it is hard to go new anymore.

You can't go wrong with either but for me I would go with the newer 2022. Why? After sticking with our "old" 2007 Sequoia for many years I wanted to try some of the new electronics being offered. Tried a 2020 Pacifica, then a 2021 Grand Cherokee L, and now a 2022 Denali. All of these are so different and way different than the 2007.

Is that a good thing? Well, I like things simple but vehicles are just not that way any more. So I say embrace it, buy the latest thing you can, and accept that in 5 years it may all be obsolete anyway. Or, buy an old CJ and don't worry about all of that "new stuff"!
