Got my rims back from powder-coater!!

It's actually coated with the dupli-color black chrome kit. Kind of a test, I'm getting color matched flares eventually. Not really a fan of the bare fender look on an OBS.

Yep. Hadn't sen anyone with it like that before..

I'm going to black chrome the trim on the molding as well. I'm still a week or two away from getting the rims on there and it's KILLING me! LOL

Coming along slowly.....

Got a chance to black out the chrome trim and got my rivets in the wheels. Also blacked out the tailpipe. As soon as I get a couple cans of black rustoleum to do the wheel wells rims and tires are going on! Im playing with my PC2474 on my beater this weekend before I put it on my Kon.

I'm waiting on my underbody paint now and it's a go. Only have the spare jack at the time so when I change them it's gonna be winter before I mess with them again so I have to paint the under body during THIS change.

Done!!

Finished it off today! Painted the frame, drums and calipers. Then put the rims on. I'll take some proper pictures when she's more presentable

Thanks fellas! It was a good use of 6 hours...I'm not crazy about how the calipers turned out. I was trying to tie it in with the red GMC symbols. I was gonna do the rear drums red too but changed my mind on that. Prolly order some clear corners and get rid of the yellow lenses and some new headlights. When I do that, I'll black the chrome out on the grill. That's another couple of weeks away since I'm off to AC and Phlliy for the weekend and pretty sure I'll be broke when I get back!

Thanks! I like that idea as I've been looking at black headlights. Def have to get rid of the stock yellow now...
