So finally got it installed today and holy crap.

This was ridiculously easy. This IS A FIVE MINUTE JOB. The hardest part was finding a screw to mount it!

1: Tighten all the barbs to the catchcan and use some locktight if you have it.

2: Pull this hose

3: Put the hose clamps on the hose ends and cut the length as needed.

4: Apply hoses to the barbs on the catchcan and tighten.

5: Apply the hoses to the other barbs and tighten. The barb hose in the middle of the catchcan goes to the top barb on the engine.

6: Attach the can to where ever you want.

Here is where I attached mine and the finished product.

Sorry for the dirty engine. :)

Installed my homemade catch can, this morning. Looking forward to checking it in a few weeks.

BTW, When I pulled my PCV valve, I noticed the grommet was torn. Gotta pick up a replacement @ O'Reilly's. Be sure to check yours, on older vehicles.

Finally, got around to replacing the PCV valve grommet. It was torn about 3/4 of the way around. So, I'm sure there was a pretty good vacuum leak. I'm hoping this was the cause of the P0171 and P0174 DTC's I was getting when the weather would cool off. Cleared the codes, and will cross fingers they don't return. (I don't feel like shelling out for O2 sensors.

I couldn't resist the temptation to check the contents of my Catch Can.

OMG, if this what the catch can prevents from being directed into the intake manifold, and subsequently the cylinders, I'm so glad I made and installed mine. This stuff looks a lot like baby $h!t, and about the same consistency. (Dads, you know what I'm talking about.)
