fuel fill opening in new to me 2011 Tahoe

Just putting in gas the first two times, I notice there is no "rubber seal" but only a metal opening, is that right? I think something is missing

unless you are posting in the wrong year section then you should have a gas cap, if your truck is newer there is no cap just a "push flap" actually there are 2 flaps one is down inside a couple more inches behind the first one and in the glove box you might have a short funnel that pushes both flaps down so you can add additives, fuel injector cleaner, etc.
