Thanks, it was easier then I imagined. Tools needed where 10mm and 7mm sockets also a pry tool. Scariest part of replacing was removing the air bag. As for reinforcing the dash I used 1 can of plasti dip.

Oh Yeah almost forgot. When taking out the bolts you can use a drill to make it go faster but when you are installing the new one, hand tighten if not the bolts will snap.

Just swapped my dash. Took a hour and 40 minutes to from start to 98% complete. Just need to do the airbag and the front piece of the dash (ran out of daylight)

Apologies if this has been asked. But once a skin is attached, does it obscure any of the attachment hardware? In other words, if you ever have to remove the dash, do you need to plan on purchasing a new skin (or new dash)?
Just FYI once the dash skin has been attached you are unable to remove the gauge cluster without having to remove the dash skin.

Can I ask where you got the replacement dash and how much it cost?

Or what’s up with the area of the dash where the stereo is supposed to be? Is that a giant cubby?

Also, is it only me or is the layout of this thread all messed up? All the posts are in a narrow sidebar.

Button is for the amps and the huge cutout in the dash is for the iPad Pro. I didn’t want it to stick out past the factory edge of the dash so the only way to get it to sit flush was to cut a huge part of the dash out

I think I had paid 800 for my dash like 2 years ago
I just looked. Literally like 5 min ago. Average price is $400. Depending on the color.

Cocoa, $387. Black, $419. Etc.. these are from a chevrolet dealer in Plant city FL. As for in stock availability. Gotta wait 6hrs for them to open to get that info as it's 3am atm..

Hi there,
I follow this post to find example of coverlay dash cover (not dashskin) because I just purchased a 2010 tahoe LT (which is now in France). Unfortunately the daah was completely cracked and I have to repair it. I can’t buy a new complete dashboard because it can’t be send to France. I have found Coverlay dash cover as a good solution but I have a concern choosing the right color.
Coverlay send me color samples but it’s difficult to know if I have to order medium Gray or Taupe Gray (see picts) because it look the right color is in between…
does anyone have installed a dash cover from Coverlay in a dark titanium interior and can help and show result?
It’s difficult for me to buy just one part of the kit because transport and customs cost more than the product for French shipping and I can’t return it.
