Sometimes amateurs put loctite on bolts, not the sliders LOL. Try a little heat as long as the rest of the heat sensitive stuff is wrapped with wet rags.

Cardone remanufactured bracket sucks. No rubber boots, no slider pins. 1st design GM, not the 2nd design. If I wasn't in a bind, I would have sent it back.

I had one from Rockauto and it was awful. Would not hold the clips centered, they would walk out and contact the rotor. Whatever coating they had on it the rust ate through in about a month. Bought OE and put the Cardone in the scrap bin where it belongs.

Do you realize these are all genuine GM brackets ? and then GM did a redesign.
But the rebuilder sucks & the rebuilder has a load of 1st design....
