I decided to change my Tahoe a little. I had a CCM 2.5/1" leveling kit with 305/55/20 terra grapplers. Now I put the stock 275/55/20 tires back on with 2" drop spindals, adjustable struts lowered about an inch, drop springs and shocks in the back with rear hardware kit, all Belltech. Also have helper bags so I can still tow some things. I removed roof rails. I had already removed the running boards and I can't decide if I should put them back on. Opinions?

Looked good before Andrew, even better dropped!
I say put the running boards back on. Removing them makes the Tahoe look higher and shows some frame.

Roof rails.....I was thinking on doing the same thing, what did the wholes on the roof look like and how did you cover them?

Welding?

Did you just leave them open?

thanks

Looks good as is so its a tough call to throw the boards back on....although they cover the frame from eyesight ;) Either way--WeLL DoNe

Nice job and I'd put the roof rails back on too :)

I'm also interested to know what you did about the holes in the roof :)

Thanks for the comments
I'm going to put to boards back on to see how I like it and I'll post pics.
Roof rails are staying off for a while, I think it looks sleek with out them. I went to a local hardware store and got new 1/2" screws with a dab of silicone to fill the holes. Next I have to take off the satellite radio fin antenna.
I would like to have a stock front valance but the one on the truck is actually cut and I don't know where to get a new one and I don't feel like buying one.
